Gale Wing XIII is the former observer of the World of the Azure before his son, Gale Wing XIV, took over those duties. He is a major character from the first half of the King of Braves Saga, only becoming playable in BlazBlue: Continuum Error.

Gale XIII's lack of involvement after Chrono Distortion has been excused by his son as him being away in another world, observing it during the time. Due to the events after Chrono Distortion only concerning Gale XIV and not the rest of the Bagirt Dimgirta, their presence and, by extension, his presence "was not needed" according to them. For the duration of the King of Braves Saga, Gale XIII would never reappear.
Personality[]
Gale XIII is a stoic, almost emotionless individual whose outlook on the world has been formed by his association with the Bagirt Dimgirta. Despite the normally traumatic events of his family's fate (his wife and two of his offspring dead, and one having gone insant), he feels nothing for it. This is due to a sort of disconnection from the world which occurs in the line of observation which he has undertaken for almost eons. He followed those rules of non-interference that the Bagirt Dimgirta hold dear to almost zealotic degrees, only wanting to see events play out and never become involved.
